A Dress Watch With a Party Trick
Héron Mirabel GMT
“It’s not the martini, this watch’s got four hands!”
The “dress watch” has long been a cornerstone of high-end watchmaking, gracing the catalogs of brands like Patek Philippe and Longines. These formal timepieces, from simple three-handers to intricate high-complication perpetual calendars, have captured the imagination of collectors for decades.
With the Mirabel, we reimagine the GMT complication—often seen in sportier aviator designs—and bring it into the realm of dress watches. The result? A GMT timepiece like no other, or, if you will, a dress watch with a party trick.

Engineered for the cockpit, Dressed For The Cocktail
Reimagining the Pilot Watch
Despite its refined appearance, the Mirabel draws from classic aviation and military tool watches. The alpha hands are faceted and high-polished, (even heat-blued on the white dial)—echoing pilot watch designs with a luxurious twist. The diamond-shaped crown, inspired by early flieger designs, is upgraded with a cabochon-style insert for added elegance. A crosshair sector dial nods to mid-century instrument watches, reinterpreted with a glossy enamel finish and applied Roman numerals. These utilitarian cues are elevated with premium details, blending rugged inspiration with dress-watch sophistication.
Handcrafted Delugs® Baranil Leather Strap
Héron X DELUGS
To ensure the Mirabel had a strap worthy of a true dress watch, we turned to our friends at Delugs—a renowned name in upscale watch accessories. Together, we settled on their popular Baranil strap, crafted to Héron's specifications with Delugs’ expertise.
Made from Baranil calfskin leather sourced from Tanneries Haas in France, the strap offers a supple yet structured feel, with a fine grain that catches light beautifully. Hand-stitched with linen thread and finished with sealed edges for longevity, it pairs seamlessly with the Mirabel—completing the watch with both comfort and refinement.

The "world-Timer" Caseback
No After-thoughts
Staying true to Héron's DNA, the Mirabel features a beautifully decorated solid steel caseback. Inspired by Art Deco design, it displays a GMT world timer with each hour corresponding to a city representing its time zone—a tribute to the golden age of travel.
At the center, an enamel-painted centerpiece elegantly separates daytime and nighttime on the world timer, adding a vibrant and functional touch to the flourished design. A perlage finish is hidden inside the caseback for the watchmaker's pleasure.
