Shipping & Delivery

We ship with Canada Post to most countries. Canada Post provides a tracking number that the customer will receive when placing the order. Upon receiving it, it is the customers responsibility to track the package. For watches in stock, the dispatch time is 1-2 business days. It is the customers responsibility to verify if import duties are applicable and will be responsible to cover for them.

Warranty

We offer a warranty period of 2 years on all of our watches from the date of shipment. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and will be judged on a case by case basis. If a watch fits the warranty requirements, it will be repaired at our cost or replaced. If you encounter any issue, please email us at hello@heronwatches.com or use our contact form.

Return Policy

We hope that you’ll be happy with your Héron watch from the moment you try it on. However, if it doesn't meet your expectations, you have fourteen days from the date of delivery to return it in perfect, unused condition (with all accompanying paperwork) for a replacement or a full refund. Please note that return shipping fees are the customer's responsibility.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  1. The protective stickers are not removed.

  3. The watch shows no signs of wear.

If these conditions are not met, we will not accept the return.

Hardened Steel

Our "Marinor" models feature a hardened steel case and bracelet, providing exceptional durability and resistance to everyday wear. The steel used in these components is treated through a specialized hardening process, achieving a remarkable 1200 HV on the Vickers hardness scale. This process involves heat treatment, quenching, and tempering, resulting in a material that is significantly more resilient than conventional stainless steel.

While the hardened steel offers superior scratch resistance, it is important to note that this does not make the watch entirely scratch-proof. High-polished surfaces, in particular, are more susceptible to scuffs and signs of wear due to the nature of the hardening treatment's effectiveness on these areas. Additionally, the caseback of the watch is not hardened, aligning with industry standards.

Hardened Steel Warranty Policy

We stand by the quality and craftsmanship of our "Marinor" model and offer a comprehensive warranty to our valued customers. Our warranty policy includes the following provisions related to the hardened steel components:

  1. Scratch Resistance: The hardened steel case and bracelet of the "Marinor" model provide enhanced scratch resistance compared to classic stainless steel. However, scratches and wear marks that occur under normal usage conditions, are not covered under the warranty.
  2. Caseback Exclusion: The caseback, not being hardened, is more susceptible to scratches and wear. These marks are considered normal and are not covered under the warranty.
  3. Warranty Coverage: Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and issues related to the integrity of the hardened steel components, excluding cosmetic wear and tear. Should you experience any structural problems with the hardened steel case or bracelet, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
  4. Maintenance Tips: To maintain the appearance and longevity of your "Marinor" watch, we recommend avoiding exposure to abrasive materials and harsh chemicals. Regular cleaning with a soft cloth will help preserve the watch's finish.

We are committed to providing exceptional quality and service. If you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
